Hi all!
Let’s just say it does not feel like I was on holiday just over a week ago. When you fly back from somewhere and then go into work the next day, it just feels like you never left!
It is nice to be back however - because although the sun puts me in a good mood, I tend to prefer it being cooler rather than hot.
This past week feels a lot more hectic than it actually has been: I put it mainly down to being back into a routine (because I really didn’t do an awful lot whilst we were away!), but I have also come down with a bit of a cold which just drains you even more.
I’m just getting over the brunt of it now however and am just about to begin another busy week! Of course I’ll be at work as normal, but on my days off I’ll be at voluntary (one of those days being today!) which I’ll talk a bit more about in my next blog post.
So as you can see from the title of this blog post, I’ll be posting about some of the outfits I wore whilst I was away! I never really saw myself doing a blog post like this, mainly because I don’t dress up often - many day to day outfits normally consist of work clothes and gym clothes 😅 - so I thought it would be something a bit fun and out of my comfort zone to do.
I didn’t do a day to day outfit picture, but I have included my favourite outfits that I wore throughout the week. Also a small disclaimer: I’m pretty sure all of these outfits are from Primark. 🤣 I don’t really shop elsewhere, but if anything I wore wasn’t from Primark then I’ll leave a little comment about it with the picture.
Outfit no. 1: The red dress 💃🏼

I posted the top picture to my Instagram and Facebook because this was definitely my favourite thing that I wore this week.
Very lightweight and comfortable, and gave me more confidence than I thought I had. I’ll definitely be wearing this one again the next chance I get!
Outfit no. 2: Yellow trousers 💛

I love, love, love these trousers so much! I’ve had them for a while, but I think the last time I wore them was for a news day (so quite a while ago lol).
I brought them along for the holiday because I thought they’d be perfect in the heat and they 100% were. These sort of trousers are ideal in the summer and definitely if you’re heading abroad somewhere hot. ☀️
Also, look at those tan lines!! Actually caught the sun for once and didn’t go bright red - although I am still looking a bit pink here. 🤣
Outfit no. 3: Chill outfit 🌬

Nothing too extravagant about this outfit, but I did really like the look of it because of how simple it was.
There are some days where you don’t want to worry about dressing up, but you still want to feel comfortable, and not be sweating too much in the heat - and this outfit was perfect for that.
The shorts are actually a pair that were bought for me last year whilst I was in Denmark. I can’t remember the name of the shop exactly, but it was one of the ones local to the island of Samsø. I don’t normally like wearing 3/4 length shorts, but I really like the look of these and they work well with the blue crop top!
Outfit 4: The grey dress 👗

This is the only photo I got in this dress. It’s one I’ve had for a while and I do wear quite a lot when the weather is nice.
It’s a nice way of looking a bit more dressed up, but still very comfortable and unrestricted at the same time!
Outfit 5: Bikini 👙

Basically what I lived in whilst I was away - who doesn’t when they’re abroad in a hot country?
I did have another bikini but I don’t have any pictures in it. I would mix and match between the two I had; I much preferred this than having a matching top and bottom. Dead cheap too!
Not an outfit post but I did get my nails done whilst I was away and paid for my mum to get her done too. I don’t normally have things like this done and nor does she so it was a nice treat for he both of us.

And that is it for this little outfit blog post. Sorry to keep it so short, I think if I did this again it’d be nice to document it throughout the week so you’re able to see more variety rather than just a few.
But I had fun planning and prepping this, and it was nice to do something a bit different than what I’m used to!
Only two weeks until I fly to Denmark now and hen we’ll be off to America - I can’t contain my excitement (if you hadn’t already guessed considering how much I’ve mentioned it)!
Until next time.
Thanks for reading. X
